1969-S Double Die Obverse PCGS AU53

The current coin has a lovely chocolate brown patina with hints of red. This is the single most dramatic double die in the 100+ years of Lincoln Cents.

It is one of the single rarest Lincoln Cents in existance. PCGS has graded a total of 28 coins in all grades with 11 uncirculated specimens and NGC has graded 11 coins in all grades with 4 uncirculated specimens. Needless to say, I'm sure there are some duplicates in these numbers.

I have had the privilege of selling 3 previous examples of this fantastic coin. This will be the fourth.
