1972-P Type II Eisenhower Silver Dollar PCGS MS63 #16940

This is the much sought after Type II reverse. This reverse is characterized by a high relief design like that of the 1973-1978 Ikes with a non-descript earth that virtually blends into the field. This date is bringing in excess of $17,000 in 66, arounf $4000 in 65. This is putting severe upward pressure on the 63's/64's. This particular coin has nice luster and is well struck.
